Job summary

Uber is seeking a Senior Security Technologist for the Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) team to operate, engineer, and transform the program at scale. You will prototype solutions, automate repeatable work, and partner with Engineering Security and Legal to drive risk decisions.

You will lead day-to-day TPRM operations, oversee MSP delivery, and manage escalations while elevating TPRM into a continuous, data-driven, intelligent function.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in security engineering or related security roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/InfoSec/Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience writing code in Python/Go/Bash for automation.
• Experience building integrations and APIs with security tooling.
• Experience managing TPRM operations and MSP delivery.
• Strong risk management and security controls knowledge.
• Ability to communicate complex risks to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Build automation, tooling, agents, and integrations to solve TPRM problems and scale.
• Write code and prototype solutions using APIs, data, and AI-assisted development.
• Identify recurring operational problems and replace manual processes with automation.
• Lead day-to-day TPRM operations including assessments and escalations.
• Oversee MSP delivery, quality, capacity, SLAs, and improvements.
• Manage complex third-party security issues with vendors and stakeholders.
• Support third-party security incidents and assess impact.
• Improve TPRM platforms, workflows, data quality, and reporting.
• Help evolve TPRM to continuous, intelligence-driven risk management.
