Job summary

Okta is seeking a Staff, Third Party Risk Management to lead complex security assessments of external partners and drive automation across the TPRM lifecycle. You will analyze risks, develop analytics, and collaborate with global stakeholders to strengthen supply-chain security.

The role requires building automated workflows and AI-enabled solutions, plus strong communication with leadership to balance risk and business needs. Hybrid work in San Francisco or CA locations is supported.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 7+ years in security assessments of third parties across ISO 27001, PCI, NIST or similar frameworks.
• Hands-on experience building automated workflows, scripts (Python/APIs), and AI agentic solutions.
• Ability to interpret security artifacts and reports (SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, FedRAMP, SIG).
• Strong communication with internal/external stakeholders; prioritize security needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex third-party security assessments and communicate risk trade-offs to leadership.
• Automate TPRM lifecycle with AI agents, capabilities, and workflows.
• Analyze integration risks to improve supply-chain visibility and blast radius.
• Drive risk remediation with third parties and internal stakeholders to align with security standards.
• Develop relationships with global stakeholders and third-party suppliers.
• Streamline onboarding/offboarding workflows with cross-functional teams.
• Design third-party review activities, vendor monitoring, and re-assessments.
• Develop data analytics workflows and establish KRIs/KPIs for reporting.
• Refine standardized risk assessment methodologies, playbooks, and procedures.
• Drive TPRM program maturity and governance alignment.
• Support ad hoc security projects and initiatives.
