Job summary

Hy-Tek Intralogistics is seeking an Automation Support Engineer to maximize customer satisfaction through field service operations, remote troubleshooting, and on-site resolution of mechanical and electrical issues. The ASE will also contribute to development in the innovation lab.

Travel up to 25%, willingness to work various shifts, and working across office, warehouse, and manufacturing settings require a versatile, hands-on professional with automation expertise.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of mechanical, electrical and/or programming experience with automation.
• Robotics experience is a plus.
• Demonstrates strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to analyze and interpret technical service manuals.

Responsibilities

• Present a professional image to customers and vendors.
• Troubleshoot and resolve innovative systems (AMR, G2P, P2G, etc).
• Provide mechanical, electrical and/or programming troubleshooting.
• Perform planned maintenance procedures.
• Assist in small-scope mechanical installations as needed.
• Participate in installation supervision, system controls and/or programming.
• Follow PPE and safety rules on site.
• Contribute to R&D for innovative solutions.
