Job summary

Arvato Direct Services Potsdam GmbH is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure smooth facility operation by maintaining conveyance and automation systems. You will coordinate preventative maintenance, execute installations, and respond to breakdowns to keep production up and running.

The role requires strong analytical skills, teamwork, effective communication, and the ability to lead projects on the floor as assigned by the Manager.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to utilize computers/computer-based monitoring equipment to diagnose material handling systems and building automation systems
• Must be team-oriented
• Must possess strong analytical/problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be self-directed and goal-oriented

Responsibilities

• Ensuring the continuous operation of hardware fixtures, equipment and tools
• Identifying the causes of equipment malfunctions and downtime, and implementing preventive measures
• Preparation of checklists and supplementary instructions for the technical documentation
• Maintaining and servicing hardware fixtures, equipment and tools
• Collaborating and troubleshooting with external service providers
• Implementation of optimizations
