Job summary

Arvato is a global logistics and 3PL provider seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our facility’s conveyance and automation systems running smoothly. You will install, repair, and support projects across the site, coordinating preventative maintenance and responding quickly to breakdowns to minimize downtime.

The role emphasizes collaboration, problem-solving, and the ability to train junior personnel while ensuring safe, efficient operations in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to utilize computers/computer-based monitoring equipment to diagnose material handling systems and building automation systems.
• Must be team-oriented
• Must possess strong analytical/problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be self-directed and goal-oriented
• Must have knowledge of commercial power distribution
• Ability to train junior personnel
• Able to lead/direct projects and repairs in all areas of the floor as assigned by the Manager

Responsibilities

• Ensuring the continuous operation of Hardware Fixtures, equipment and tools
• Identifying the causes of equipment malfunctions and downtime, and implementing preventive measures
• Preparation of checklists and supplementary instructions for the technical documentation
• Maintaining and servicing Hardware Fixtures, equipment and tools
• Collaborating and troubleshooting with external service providers
• Implementation of optimizations
