Job summary

BD, a global medical technology leader, is seeking an engineer to lead design and integration of assembly, packaging, and automation equipment across manufacturing sites. You will drive process improvements, ensure GMP/ISO compliance, and partner with suppliers and internal teams to deliver on time and within budget.

You will lead validation, risk assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives while mentoring engineers and coordinating with global teams across manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Controls Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years in automation, procurement and assembly/packaging experience.
• Experience leading projects end to end.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end automation, procurement, and packaging projects.
• Design and develop assembly, packaging, automation equipment.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to meet quality and regulatory standards.
• Travel domestically and internationally up to 25%.
• Lead FAT/SAT and equipment validation.
• Mentor engineers and collaborate with global teams.
