Job summary

BD is seeking a Production Manager in Connecticut to lead the design, integration, validation, and startup of manufacturing equipment. You will manage cross-functional teams to deliver scalable automation solutions that meet quality and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Controls Engineering or equivalent.
3+ years in automation, procurement and assembly/packaging.
Willingness to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally.
Experience leading end-to-end projects.

Responsibilities

Lead design and development of assembly, packaging, automation, inspection, and manufacturing equipment.
Create URS aligned with manufacturing, quality, regulatory and business needs.
Evaluate design concepts balancing risk, reliability, and cost.
Lead design reviews, risk assessments, and FMEA activities.
Drive supplier selection, RFQs, and vendor performance improvements.
Ensure GMP, ISO, FDA and quality system compliance.
