Job summary

BD is a leading global medical technology company focused on improving health and patient outcomes. This role provides technical ownership for the design, integration and validation of complex manufacturing equipment across BD’s validated production environments.

We seek a senior engineer to lead design reviews, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement in early and late-stage projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 8 years of experience in equipment design, automation, manufacturing engineering, and capital project delivery.
• Extensive experience integrating equipment in regulated environments with emphasis on validation and vertical start‑up.
• Proven leadership in large or complex capital projects.
• Willingness to travel internationally as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical ownership and strategic direction for assembly, packaging, automation, inspection, molding, press, and manufacturing equipment.
• Lead design reviews, FAT/SAT, and validation planning across projects.
• Ensure compliance with ISO, FDA, GMP, and BD Quality System requirements.
• Mentor engineers and drive standardisation and knowledge sharing.
