Job summary

BD is seeking an experienced engineer to drive design, development and integration of manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced medical technology environment. You will lead cross-functional teams to ensure high standards of quality, efficiency, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include leading automation concepts, selecting suppliers, managing FAT/SAT, and delivering projects on time and budget while advancing continuous improvement and process validation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical/controls engineering or related field.
• 3+ years in automation, procurement, assembly and packaging.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 25%.
• Experience leading projects end to end is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of automation and manufacturing equipment.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet quality, cost and regulatory requirements.
• Manage supplier and capital projects from concept through FAT/SAT and start-up.
• Drive continuous improvement and validation activities in line with GMP/ISO expectations.
