Job summary

Anduril Industries in McHenry, MS is seeking a Manager, Automation Engineering for the Rocket Motor Systems facility. You will lead the Controls Engineering team, own automation portfolios, and drive capital projects for high-rate solid rocket motor production.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required in Robotics, Computer Science, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
8+ years of experience in controls and automation in a production environment.
Experience with Siemens PLC programming (Ladder and Structured Text).
Experience owning scope, budget, and schedule for capital and continuous improvement projects.
Experience with Risk Assessments and Controls Safety Design.
Experience integrating with SCADA and OT Networking.
Familiar with NFPA70e electrical safety practices.
Must be a U.S. Person due to access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities.

Responsibilities

Lead, grow, and develop the Controls Engineering team for Solid Rocket Motor production in McHenry, MS.
Plan, budget, and track capital and CI projects for automation and controls.
Partner with Operations and Manufacturing Engineering to represent controls on projects.
Own and enforce internal standards for control system architecture and documentation.
Oversee functional safety projects including risk assessments and safety buyoffs.
Provide visibility to HQ on controls project status and schedule risk.
Direct root cause analysis and corrective actions for automation downtime.
