Anduril Industries in McHenry, Mississippi, is seeking a Manager of Automation Engineering for the Rocket Motor Systems facility. You will lead the Controls Engineering team and own automation and controls projects for high-rate solid rocket motor production.

The role requires 8+ years in controls and automation, expertise with Siemens PLCs, and strong risk assessment and SCADA experience. U.S. Person status is required due to export-controlled information access.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
8+ years in controls and automation in production.
Experience with Siemens PLC programming (Ladder and Structured Text).
Experience owning scope, budget and schedule for capital and CI projects.
Experience with Risk Assessments and Safety Design.
Experience integrating with SCADA and OT networking.
Familiar with NFPA70e electrical safety practices.
U.S. Person due to export controlled information access.

Responsibilities

Lead and grow the Controls Engineering team supporting Solid Rocket Motor production in McHenry, MS.
Plan, budget, and track capital and CI projects for automation and controls.
Partner with Operations and Manufacturing Engineering to align controls scope, schedule, and staffing.
Own internal standards for control system architecture, documentation, and regulatory compliance.
Oversee safety projects including risk assessments and safety buyoffs.
Provide visibility to HQ on project status, schedule risk, and events affecting automation.
Direct root cause analysis and corrective actions for automation downtime.
