Job summary
Genentech in Holly Springs, NC seeks a Senior Automation Manager to lead the site automation engineering team, drive strategy, and oversee design, commissioning, and validation of process control systems for a large greenfield project. The role emphasizes 24x7 support readiness and cross-functional collaboration with IT and Quality.
You will be the technical owner of Distributed Control Systems, focusing on DeltaV and Rockwell platforms, while guiding vendors and ensuring regulatory compliance
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, IT or related field.
- Minimum 10 years as systems engineer designing/implementing support of Rockwell control systems.
- At least 3 years of experience managing teams.
- Willing to participate in 24x7 support and on-call rotations.
Responsibilities
- Lead site automation engineering team and drive professional development.
- Define and implement automation strategy aligned with global standards.
- Oversee design, commissioning, and validation of process control systems for the Greenfield project.
- Establish lifecycle management for site control and manufacturing systems.
- Collaborate with IT and Quality to ensure data integrity and compliance.
