Amgen is seeking a Manufacturing Systems Engineer: Automation to lead and maintain process automation for new drug substance manufacturing in Holly Springs, NC. You will partner with facilities, project teams, and end-users to implement robust automation solutions that meet GMP requirements.

The role emphasizes DeltaV expertise, documentation, and ongoing improvement of control systems to ensure safe, compliant operations and high plant reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (or higher) with relevant engineering experience.
• Master’s Degree preferred with strong automation background.
• Experience in GMP biopharma environments is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain process control systems on DeltaV DCS.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate process needs into automation solutions.
• Document delivered solutions and validation artifacts clearly.
• Support QA in computerized systems validation per GxP.
• Drive continuous improvement of automation to enhance safety and efficiency.
