Amgen is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Systems Engineer: Automation PLC to lead automation engineering efforts for GMP Drug Substance Plant Operations at our Holly Springs site. You will guide a team in developing and maintaining automation systems and capital projects that support new plant facilities and operations.

Responsibilities include PLC/SCADA development, DeltaV integration, HMI design, and driving continuous improvement while ensuring compliance with 21 CFR Part 11.

Qualifikationen

• Experience meeting GMP and regulatory requirements (21 CFR Part 11).
• Strong leadership, written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with capital projects and lifecycle management.

Aufgaben

• Provide automation technical leadership to a team of automation engineers for GMP Drug Substance Plant Operations.
• Collaborate with capital project team to deliver robust automation systems for plant utilities.
• Develop and maintain automation solutions using PLCs (Allen Bradley, Siemens) and DeltaV integration.
• Develop and maintain SCADA, Trailblazer, and equipment PLCs.
• Lead standalone system implementation and start-up, assist in control panel/HMI layout and design.
• Work with SMEs to translate process requirements into digital automation solutions.
• Lead continuous improvement and sustainability initiatives for standalone systems.
• Collaborate with partners to optimize workflow and data integrity in validated environments.
• Document delivered solutions and support validation per 21 CFR Part 11.
