Job summary

RoviSys in Indianapolis is seeking a co-op student to gain hands-on experience in designing automation and control systems for manufacturing environments. You will work with engineers to develop systems interfacing with process lines and sensors while contributing to data-driven reports and software development.

Under guidance from experienced engineers, you will document designs using P&ID, I/O lists, and process descriptions, and participate in client plant visits for commissioning.

Qualifications

• Full-time student status.
• GPA 3.0 or above.
• Enrollment in a Bachelor's program in a Technical Field related to Engineering or Control Systems.
• Passionate about problem solving and developing solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automation systems for client projects.
• Design and develop electrical control systems interfacing with process lines, manufacturing equipment and sensors.
• Architect solutions using technologies from database to AI to UI tools.
• Provide clients with real-time, actionable process reports.
• Develop quality code following company and client standards.
• Travel to customer sites for planning, commissioning and testing.
