Minth North America, Inc. in Wixom, MI is seeking an Automation Engineer to lead design, installation, qualification, and maintenance of automated assembly equipment for our automotive manufacturing lines.

You will diagnose tooling and process issues, coordinate multi-project initiatives, and ensure buy-off of complex robotics systems. The candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in mechanical, automation, or electrical engineering with 5+ years of manufacturing automation experience, strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in mechanical, automation, electrical engineering, or related field.
• More than five years of experience in manufacturing automation management.
• Proficiency in Office and CAD software; comprehensive knowledge of mechanical or electrical design.
• Familiarity with TPM principles and practices and equipment maintenance.
• Bilingual Mandarin and English is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Install, commission, and maintain robotic systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Develop SOPs and standardize management practices for robotic equipment.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement solutions for robotic issues.
• Manage automation projects, including path programming and supplier communication.
• Lead safety improvements and conduct training and documentation.
• Support audits and drive process improvements to reduce costs and increase efficiency.
• Establish and train local technical teams.
