Job summary
Amazon seeks an Automation Engineer in Georgia to maximize equipment reliability and operational performance in our fulfillment centers. You will troubleshoot complex control systems, analyze performance data, and drive continuous improvement of MHE systems and SCADA programs.
You will work with state-of-the-art conveyors, sortation, scanners, cameras, print and apply systems to ensure orders ship with speed and accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or 2+ years of PLC programming/automation experience
- Flexible schedule including weekends/nights/holidays
- Experience with PLC-controlled automation and issue diagnosis in process/production environments
- Experience with robotics work cells and control systems
- Experience with electrical theory, robotics, controls components, and automated equipment
- Ladder Logic and structured programming in Siemens/Allen-Bradley/Codesys PLCs
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot complex control systems and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize MHE systems
- Analyze performance metrics to enhance equipment reliability and operational performance
- Work with state-of-the-art technology including conveyors, sortation systems, scanners, cameras, print and apply systems, and SCADA devices and programs
