CBRE Global Workplace Solutions seeks a Ctrl Systems Engineer / Automation Engineer to support one of the world’s largest online retailers. You will troubleshoot PLC/PC controllers, retrofit and maintain MHE systems, and collaborate with operations to maximize equipment reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred with 2-5 years of relevant experience.
• 2+ years of experience with PLC programs.
• 2+ years of experience with robotics system components and controls.
• 2+ years of experience with SCADA systems.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by complying with codes and directives.
• Troubleshoot and modify software for material handling control systems.
• Escalate and respond to on-site and remote troubleshooting needs.
• Inspect systems to ensure operation within design capabilities.
• Oversee scope development, scheduling, and inspection of outside contractors.
• Engineer process solutions and reliability improvements.
• Monitor industrial networks and electrical distribution systems.
• Communicate with leadership and maintenance teams on timelines and impacts.
• Perform controls system assessments to improve reliability.
