Job summary
The Cigna Group is seeking a Pharmacy Automation Engineer Lead Analyst to maintain and advance highly automated filling and packaging technologies that support critical pharmacy operations. You will mentor others, lead troubleshooting, and drive reliability and continuous improvement across complex systems.
This role requires hands-on technical expertise, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and participation in on-call rotations.
Qualifications
- 2+ years maintaining automated industrial equipment or similar production systems.
- Experience troubleshooting PLC-controlled systems and field devices.
- Experience using CMMS like Maximo to document maintenance.
- Ability to work outside normal hours and participate in on-call rotation.
Responsibilities
- Maximize performance, reliability, and uptime of automated production equipment.
- Lead troubleshooting for electrical, mechanical, PLC, and computer-controlled systems.
- Identify root causes and implement improvements.
- Drive continuous improvement to MTBF and production capacity.
- Support installation, validation, and upgrades of automation equipment.
- Execute engineering change controls and document changes.
- Monitor systems with diagnostics and reporting tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors.
- Train and mentor team members.
- Participate in on-call rotation.
