Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Automation Engineer to maximize equipment reliability in our fulfillment centers. You will troubleshoot complex control systems, analyze performance metrics, and drive continuous improvements across material handling equipment.

You will work with PLC/PC controllers, Ethernet and industrial networks, SCADA devices, and state-of-the-art MHE systems to optimize operations and deliver fast, accurate customer fulfillment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 2+ years PLC/automation experience.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, nights, or holidays.
• Experience in PLC-based controls design, development, and support.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the site expert for maintaining critical automation systems.
• Understand, maintain and troubleshoot PLC/PC controllers and industrial networks.
• Monitor MHE metrics and partner with maintenance to improve performance.
• Provide first-level escalation support for site technicians, locally and remotely.
• Perform and analyze building assessments to enhance MHE performance.
