Job summary
CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking an Automation Engineer to support advanced automation systems for a leading online retailer. You will work with conveyors, sortation, PLCs, vision systems, scanners, and SCADA to optimize uptime and safety.

Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with automation and control systems.
- Experience with material handling equipment and conveyors.
- Ability to troubleshoot industrial PLC-based systems.
Responsibilities
- Promote a safe working environment and regulatory compliance.
- Troubleshoot and modify PLC/PC controllers, including RSLogix 5000.
- Provide on-site and remote escalation support during business hours.
- Inspect systems to ensure operation within design capabilities.
- Oversee development scope and coordination with external contractors.
- Engineer process solutions and reliability improvements.
- Monitor industrial networks (Ethernet, DeviceNet, Profibus, AS-I).
- Communicate with stakeholders on timelines and project impacts.
- Analyze failures and propose improvements to avoid recurrence.
- Perform other job-related duties as needed.
