Job summary

Greenheck Group in Schofield, WI is seeking an Automation Engineer I for the Machine Development Center. You will design, program, assemble, and install electrical controls for machines and tooling systems, plus provide post-installation support and troubleshooting.

Earn base pay from $77,235 to $95,408, with strong opportunities for growth in a global manufacturing environment known for safety and quality. Travel is required to Greenheck facilities to install machines and train staff.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of relevant work experience required.
• 4 Year / Bachelor Degree in Electromechanical Technology, Automation Engineering Technology, or Electrical Engineering required.
• OSHA 1910 or NFPA 70E Safety Training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Project manage machine installations, including build and wire electrical panels.
• Create electrical schematics and cabinet layouts using AutoCAD Electrical.
• Order parts for projects using Ariba Purchasing system.
• Wire external machine components to electrical cabinet.
• Write PLC/HMI/Robot Programs for machine control.
