Job summary

Greenheck Group in Schofield, WI is seeking an Automation & Controls Technician II/III to support highly technical production equipment, electrical controls, and lasers. You will coordinate preventive maintenance, manage complex projects, and deliver strong problem solving in a fast pace environment.

The role requires 2–6 years of relevant experience, an associate degree in Electromechanical or related field, and proficiency with Allen-Bradley controls and AutoCAD Electrical.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of relevant work experience in industrial equipment, power distribution, and automation in a manufacturing environment required.
• 2 Year / associate degree in Electromechanical, Electronics, Automation, or a related field or equivalent years of job experience required.
• Full awareness and understanding of all electrical hazards and mitigation techniques.
• Allen Bradley 500, 5000 platform programming training preferred
• AutoCAD Electrical preferred
• Project Management skills preferred
• Troubleshooting skills preferred
• OEM equipment training preferred

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting advanced electrical circuits and electromechanical systems.
• Advanced laser system diagnostics, troubleshooting and repair.
• Coordinate PMs with production and mechanics; complete preventative maintenance tasks.
• Maintain 5S and professional communication with stakeholders.
• Document work in CMMS and shift reports; on-site response within 2 hours.
