Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an Automation Engineer II to support a large pharmaceutical client in Clayton, NC. The role involves ensuring compliance of new processes and equipment with standards, as well as improving the reliability of process control systems.

The ideal candidate should have a strong engineering background with relevant experience and expertise in project management and process improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering/related field of study from an accredited university required.
• Minimum of seven (7) years of engineering experience in process-based manufacturing required.
• Knowledgeable in the following technologies: SAP EM, PLC, DCS/SCADA, MES, Oracle, MS SQL.

Responsibilities

• Work with local & global project team to ensure design is compliant.
• Develop & implement plans to maintain & improve process control systems.
• Support audits & inspections as SME for process control systems.
