Job summary

Novo Nordisk is seeking an Automation Engineer for the FFEx expansions to design, plan, and implement process control systems across aseptic production facilities. You will work with stakeholders and vendors to ensure equipment meets local and global standards, while adhering to cLEAN® and Six Sigma methodologies.

Expect cross-functional collaboration across IT, production, and quality teams. You will drive improvements in automation standards, support audits, and participate in SOP development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required.
• Experience in process-based manufacturing, utilities and/or packaging systems required.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
• Knowledgeable in SAP EM, PLC, DCS/SCADA, MES, Oracle, MS SQL.

Responsibilities

• Support plans to maintain & improve process control systems.
• Schedule & execute plans in coordination with manufacturing schedules.
• Operate as automation resource on projects that involve process control systems.
• Own self-development & initiative to understand the site process control systems.
• Adhere to the automation standards & implement changes to specifications & maintenance plans.
• Support audits & inspections for process control systems.
• Utilize cLEAN® tools for problem solving & project management.
• Ensure compliance with a Quality Mindset focusing on risk management.
