Amcor is seeking an Automation Engineer to be located in Evansville, IN or remotely located, preferably in the Midwest or Eastern United States. The role supports large scale End of Line automation projects and will lead multi-plant efforts from concept to completion with hands-on controls experience.

The ideal candidate has an associate degree or technical equivalent, strong communication and leadership skills, and background in electrical/mechanical installation, project management, and ISO

Competenze

• Associate degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• Strong communication and leadership; interacts with engineers, plants and vendors.
• Project management experience; ISO compliance experience a plus.
• Six Sigma familiarity is beneficial.

Mansioni

• Monitor and apply safety standards to maintain a safe working environment.
• Work with corporate and plant teams to develop detailed scope of work for system solutions.
• Lead project management efforts from scope development through system delivery.
• Provide electrical/mechanical installation support and technical expertise during new project launches.
• Provide technical support on current and future continuous improvement projects.
• Create training instructions and standard operating procedures for use in equipment implementation.
• Train production and maintenance departments in the use and maintenance of new equipment.
• Responsible for adherence to all company, industry, and regulatory procedures.
• Responsible for participating in post project review.
