Job summary

Astemo Americas, Inc. in Ohio is seeking an Automation/Robotics/Controls Engineer to design and integrate automated systems across mass production lines in a manufacturing environment.

You will design, program, test, and troubleshoot robotics systems; document specs, analyze data from robot tests; and update systems to improve performance.

A Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 7–10 years of automation experience are required, with a proven track record implementing new automation projects.

  • Designing and developing robotics systems.

  • Documenting detailed robot design specifications and support in the production of technical reports.
  • Analyzing and interpreting data from robot tests and real-world deployments.
  • Updating and modifying existing robotic systems to expand their capabilities and improve performance.
  • Working collaboratively with other engineers and stakeholders to meet project goals.
  • Staying informed about the latest advancements in robotics technology and implementing new design concepts.
  • Adhering to safety regulations in all stages of project development and implementation.
  • Providing technical support and training for end users of robotic systems.
