Job summary

ASTEMO AMERICAS, INC. in Harrodsburg, KY is seeking a maintenance-focused technician to monitor and sustain critical KPIs for ECU production assembly lines. You will analyze maintenance skill sets, develop and execute training, and mentor maintenance staff to improve troubleshooting and execution.

Responsibilities include defect reduction, supporting maintenance staff, leading improvement projects, and driving root-cause/countermeasure activities to enhance overall equipment effectiveness.

Qualifications

  • Motivated to learn and enjoy teamwork.
  • Electrical and mechanical experience.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, time management and prioritization.
  • Strong troubleshooting ability; able to lead and direct root-cause analysis.
  • Proficiency with PCs and Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.

Responsibilities

Job Description

This position will be responsible for monitoring and sustaining critical KPI for ECU production assembly lines, analyzing maintenance skill sets, developing/executing training, and mentoring maintenance staff. Focusing on improving maintenance troubleshooting and execution. Primary responsibilities include assisting with defect reduction activities, maintenance staff support and training, improvement projects, and root cause/countermeasure activities.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate would be motivated to learn and enjoy teamwork, have electrical and mechanical experience, strong attention to detail, excellent organization skills, time management skills, prioritization skills, and strong troubleshooting ability. Proven ability to lead and give directions for troubleshooting and getting to the root cause of equipment failure. Knowledge of PC’s and Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Etc.). 2 Year technical degree and work-related experience.

Advanced Knowledge/experience of PLC/HMI (Keyence, Allen Bradley, Etc.) Advanced Knowledge/experience with robotics (Fanuc, Yamaha. Etc.) Advanced Knowledge/experience vision systems (Cognex, Keyence, Etc.)
