Job summary
National Fuel is seeking an Automation & Electrical Engineer (A&E Engineer) in Williamsville, NY, to lead design, integration, and commissioning of automation projects for pipeline measurement, process, and compression activities. You will work with stakeholders, vendors, and contractors to ensure safe and efficient operations.
The role requires 4+ years in controls and automation, PLC/HMI experience, and willingness to travel within Western NY and nearby PA.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology (ABET preferred).
- Experience in Controls & Automation Engineering (4+ years).
- PLC programming and HMI-based control systems experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide project management and technical guidance for electrical/automation projects.
- Develop and review scopes, specs, cost estimates, designs, procurement, and commissioning.
- Support PLC, DCS, HMI, and historian data logging and reporting systems.
