Job summary

Equipment & Controls, Inc. seeks an Automation Engineer to support natural gas production operations in the Marcellus and Utica regions.

You will provide technical expertise in process control design, implementation, and troubleshooting, while supporting sales and project execution within the Remote Automated Solutions unit. Responsibilities include site assessments, design, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of RTUs, PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, and related instrumentation.

Qualifications

• Must have a 4-year engineering degree.
• 2+ years of process control/automation experience.
• Experience with Emerson RTUs and Rosemount instrumentation is a plus.
• Willingness to travel across Pennsylvania, Ohio and West Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Provide process control and automation expertise for Marcellus and Utica gas production.
• Design, install, commission, and maintain RTUs, PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems.
• Support sales and project execution within the RAS unit.
• Travel within PA, OH and WV as needed.
• Collaborate with internal teams and Emerson partners.
