Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Wireless Network Development Engineer to design, implement, and automate the global wireless and wired access network for its massive fulfillment network. You will lead multi-milestone projects, develop automation for configuration, validation, and deployment, and mentor junior engineers while validating new devices at scale.

Day-to-day work includes partnering with firmware, field ops, and infrastructure teams, and traveling to sites for hands-on validation.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of automation scripting using Python, Bash, Shell and/or Perl experience.
• 4+ years experience developing engineering, deployment, or operations mechanisms to support IP network and/or networking systems.
• 4+ years experience in a network focused hands-on technical role working with IP routing protocols/technologies and platforms in large scale enterprise wireless network environments.
• 4+ years of experience in network engineering, with deep expertise in wireless (802.11ac/ax/be) and wired (802.1X, RADIUS, DHCP, DNS) access technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy network access solutions for wireless and wired environments.
• Own end-to-end project delivery from requirements through deployment and validation.
• Build automation and tooling to manage network configuration, validation, and zero-touch deployment.
• Enable self-healing operations with automated remediation and predictive maintenance for wireless infra.
• Collaborate across teams to balance performance, cost, and operational simplicity.
