Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Wireless Network Development Engineer to help design, implement, and automate scalable wireless infrastructure for fulfillment centers and transportation sites worldwide. You will partner with Software, Operations, and Engineering teams to define future solutions and improve network availability at scale.

You will contribute to 24x7 escalation coverage on a rotating schedule, participate in hiring, and help develop top talent while building robust wireless/networking systems

Qualifications

• 1+ years of automation scripting using Python, Bash, Shell and/or Perl experience.
• Experience in wireless system design and architecture, system integration, and RF system analysis.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Deep understanding of IP network fundamentals and packet capture analysis.

Responsibilities

• Identifying, developing, and delivering technical solutions that improve the availability of our wireless network technologies.
• Partner with peer teams to interpret customer problems and find technological solutions.
• Define and meter the availability of our existing and future network solutions.
• Identify and deliver solutions that reduce operational impact to customers and enable scalable, resilient services.
• Dive Deep on complex problems to identify root causes and deliver corrective actions.
• Evaluate new technologies, run PoCs, and define run books for deployment.
