Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Wireless Network Development Engineer to advance software-defined, automated wireless infrastructure for Amazon’s fulfillment and transportation networks. You will partner with Software, Operations, and Engineering teams to shape and automate future solutions, focusing on reliability and scalability across global data centers and facilities.

Qualifications

1+ years of automation scripting with Python, Bash, Shell and/or Perl.
Experience in wireless system design, architecture, system integration, and RF system analysis
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
Deep understanding of IP network fundamentals and packet capture analysis - Analytical skills

Responsibilities

Identifying, developing, and delivering technical solutions that improve the availability of our wireless network technologies.
Partner with peer teams to interpret the customer problems and find technological solutions utilizing wired networking technologies.
Define and meter the availability of our existing and future network solutions, ensuring they meet or exceed the needs of our customers.
Develop automation to resolve wireless network failures.
Dive Deep on complex problems that identify root causes of our customer impacts, developing and delivering corrective actions.
Implement metrics to measure wireless availability and identify performance risks
