Kendall Capital Management in Washington, DC is seeking an Operations & Technology Analyst to support and modernize our investment operations. This role blends day-to-day processing with process automation, ideal for someone who can reconcile accounts and write scripts to eliminate manual tasks.

You will automate workflows with Python and VBA, collaborate with operations and portfolio teams, and help maintain data integrity across CRM and custodial systems, contributing to scalable, error‑free

Qualifications

• Working proficiency in Python and VBA.
• Experience with investment operations: trade support and reconciliation.
• Strong attention to detail with financial data.
• Builder mindset to fix manual processes, not just complete them.
• Strong communication skills to explain technical solutions.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, business, computer science, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Support core investment operations: trade processing, account maintenance, reconciliations, and data accuracy across custodial platforms.
• Manage and maintain outside (held-away) asset accounts, ensuring accurate reporting and integration into client portfolios.
• Build and maintain Python scripts and VBA tools to automate recurring operational workflows and reduce manual error.
• Partner with the operations and portfolio management teams to identify inefficiencies and design scalable solutions.
• Maintain data integrity across our CRM (AdvisorEngine) and other operational systems.
• Document processes and tools so they're maintainable and transferable as the team grows.
