Responsibilities

• Support core investment operations: trade processing, account maintenance, reconciliations, and data accuracy across custodial platforms.
• Manage and maintain outside (held-away) asset accounts, ensuring accurate reporting and integration into client portfolios.
• Build and maintain Python scripts and VBA tools to automate recurring operational workflows and reduce manual error.
• Partner with the operations and portfolio management teams to identify inefficiencies and design scalable solutions.
• Maintain data integrity across our CRM (AdvisorEngine) and other operational systems.
• Document processes and tools so they're maintainable and transferable as the team grows.

About the Role

What You'll Do

• Support core investment operations: trade processing, account maintenance, reconciliations, and data accuracy across custodial platforms
• Manage and maintain outside (held‑away) asset accounts, ensuring accurate reporting and integration into client portfolios
• Build and maintain Python scripts and VBA tools to automate recurring operational workflows and reduce manual error
• Partner with the operations and portfolio management teams to identify inefficiencies and design scalable solutions
• Maintain data integrity across our CRM (AdvisorEngine) and other operational systems

What You Bring

• Working proficiency in Python and VBA — comfortable automating spreadsheet‑based or repetitive workflows
• Experience with (or strong aptitude for) investment operations: trade support, reconciliation, custodial platforms
• Sharp attention to detail and comfort working with financial data
• A builder's mindset — someone who sees a manual process and wants to fix it, not just complete it
• Strong communication skills; able to explain technical solutions to non‑technical colleagues
• Bachelor's degree in finance, business, computer science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with CRM or portfolio management systems (e.g., AdvisorEngine, Orion, Tamarac)
• SQL or database experience
• Series 65 or willingness to obtain relevant industry licensing
