Job summary

Tenstorrent is hiring a physical design engineer to develop, deploy, and own the RTL-to-GDSII CAD flow for production use. You will collaborate with design teams and EDA vendors to build automated, scalable flows that improve power, performance, and area.

The role supports new nodes, PDKs, and foundry targets with a strong emphasis on reliable validation. We welcome candidates with 5+ years of hands-on experience in physical design methodology, familiarity with FusionCompiler/ICC2,

Qualifications

  • 5+ years developing and supporting physical design methodology or CAD flows in production use.
  • Experience with industry-standard tools and scripting languages for flow automation.
  • Ability to stand up flows for new technology nodes and qualify EDA releases.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, deploy, and own RTL-to-GDSII CAD flow for production use.
  • Collaborate with design teams and EDA vendors to optimize flows.
  • Automate processes to improve PPA and reliability across nodes.
  • Qualify new nodes, PDKs, and foundry targets ahead of program needs.
