Tenstorrent is seeking a hands-on physical design engineer to own blocks end to end, from synthesis through PnR, timing closure, and GDSII signoff. The role directly influences how fast we can commit to a customer’s timeline.

Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD in EE/ECE/CE/CS with 5+ years of block-level physical design through tapeout.
• Experience with industry tools (Innovus, ICC2, Fusion Compiler, PrimeTime) and scripting (Tcl, Python, Perl).
• Strong understanding of low-power design, UPF, signoff, and PPA optimization.

Responsibilities

• Own blocks end to end, from synthesis through PnR and signoff.
• Collaborate with RTL owners to meet timing and power budgets.
• Deliver IP integration collateral (LEF/DEF, timing and power models, GDS, signoff reports).
