Job summary

Skechers USA, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to service and repair its automated warehouse systems, including high-speed sortation equipment, conveyors, and ASRS.

The role requires strong electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic expertise and independent problem-solving in a fast-paced distribution environment. Theposition involves diagnosing PLCs, motor control panels, sensors, and access to Warehouse Control Systems/HMI for diagnostics, with a focus on safety per NFPA 70E

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred.
• 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience with automated systems.
• Intermediate knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, motor controls, and automated material handling equipment.
• Knowledge of NFPA 70E electrical safety standards and industrial safety practices.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in an industrial warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Identify, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical failures on complex automated warehouse systems.
• Troubleshoot PLCs to the Input/Output level under supervision.
• Diagnose and repair motor control panels, including motor starters, overloads, relays, switches, circuit breakers, and fuses.
• Maintain and repair sensors, photo eyes, proximity switches, bar code readers, and dimensions.
• Maintain and repair multiple conveyor systems (belted, roller, MDR, powered curve, spiral) and sortation systems.
