Job summary

Kelly is seeking a Controls Technician in Newark, OH to program, troubleshoot, and repair Allen-Bradley PLCs, HMIs, vision systems, and networking gear. The role covers maintaining industrial machinery, motors, pneumatics, and conveyors, while supporting automation efforts and ongoing training.

Qualified candidates have an associate degree or equivalent experience and 3–5 years of electrical work in industry, with ladder logic and AB PLC experience. 1st shift, Monday–Friday; lift up to 75 lbs.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience in electrical/instrumentation.
• 3–5 years of electrical experience in an industrial setting.
• Hands-on RS Logix 500/5000, networking, HMI, and robotics experience.
• PLC programming experience (Allen Bradley) and ladder logic proficiency.
• Strong troubleshooter with learning mindset; able to lift up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Programming, troubleshooting, and repairing Allen-Bradley PLCs, HMIs, vision systems, and networking equipment.
• Maintaining and repairing industrial machinery and systems, including motors, pneumatic and conveyor systems, and production equipment.
• Engineering equipment improvements, supporting ongoing automation initiatives, and participating in regular training to expand expertise.
• Reporting to the Maintenance Manager or Supervisory Lead as required.
