Job summary
CentroMotion in Medina, Ohio seeks a skilled Controls Technician to troubleshoot and maintain industrial automation equipment. You will work with PLCs, HMIs, servo drives, robotics, and vision systems, applying strong electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic knowledge.
The ideal candidate has 5+ years in manufacturing, experience with Allen-Bradley and Siemens hardware/software, and the ability to work independently or in cross-functional teams, with occasional travel and CI involvement.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of manufacturing experience with machine controls and automation.
- Strong knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, and servo drives.
- Experience with Allen-Bradley and Siemens hardware/software.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and maintain automation systems and networks.
- Modify and test controls (relay logic, PLC and HMI programs, servo drives, motors).
- Provide support to engineering and operations for process issues and improvements.
- Coordinate with suppliers to specify products and parts for installation.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and travel as needed.
