What You’ll Need
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on industrial electrical and controls experience (7–10+ years preferred)
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Automation, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, or related technical discipline preferred
- Advanced troubleshooting skills for industrial electrical, controls, and automation systems
- Strong knowledge of industrial electrical power and control systems up to 480 VAC
- Experience with Allen-Bradley PLC systems (ControlLogix and CompactLogix preferred)
- Ability to perform online PLC diagnostics using Studio 5000 or equivalent
- Experience with VFDs, motor controls, MCCs, AC/DC motors, relays, contactors, safety circuits, and industrial control panels
- Ability to read and troubleshoot from electrical schematics, ladder logic, control drawings, and OEM documentation
- Proficiency with electrical and controls diagnostic/test equipment
- Working knowledge of LOTO, electrical safe-work practices, and NFPA 70E requirements
- Ability to document troubleshooting findings and completed work clearly in the CMMS
- Pre-employment drug screening, background checks, and medical examinations may be required
- Valid driver’s license and ability to wear PPE
- Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds, stand/walk for extended periods, climb, bend, stoop, kneel, and work in confined spaces
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and around hazardous materials

- ISA CCST or equivalent controls/instrumentation certification
- Experience with servo and motion-control systems
