BorgWarner Arden campus is seeking a Sr. Manufacturing Engineer specializing in thermal assembly to lead process development and improvements across automated and semi-automated lines.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, cost control, and adherence to World Class manufacturing standards. The position requires a BS in mechanical/electromechanical engineering and at least 5 years of manufacturing engineering experience, preferably in automotive environments.

Qualifikationen

• BS in mechanical or electromechanical engineering.
• 5+ years of Manufacturing Engineering experience in semi-automated/automated assembly lines.
• Experience in the automotive industry preferred.
• Lean manufacturing principles required.
• PPAP, 8D, 5S quality tools experience.
• Familiarity with SAP and CAD tools helpful.

Aufgaben

• Support manufacturing operations with process development, improvement, testing, safety, quality, and cost.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and adherence to World Class standards.
• Develop and enhance automated and manual systems for machine tending, material handling, and assembly operations.
• Lead sourcing of new equipment and tools from RFQ through start of production.
• Ensure optimization of workflow, equipment placement, and space utilization.
