Job summary

Electrical Automation Services in Woodbury, NJ seeks a Controls Technician to maintain and optimize plant-wide electrical, automation, and process control systems on high-speed production lines. You will lead troubleshooting, be responsible for safety and GMP standards, and train Electro-Mechanics across shifts.

This on-site role requires reading schematics, drawing on experience with PLCs, drives, networks, and equipment documentation to maximize uptime and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with extensive industrial controls, automation or electrical maintenance experience.
• Familiar with machine layouts, P&IDs, control drawings, and distributed control systems.
• Proficiency with Rockwell (Allen-Bradley), Siemens, and Mitsubishi programming, configuration and troubleshooting software.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, work orders, operating manuals and maintenance instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize plant electrical, automation, and process control systems to maximize equipment reliability and uptime.
• Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for electrical and controls-related equipment failures.
• Train and coordinate Electro-Mechanics across all shifts.
