University of Nebraska Omaha is seeking an HVAC Controls Technician to install, operate, and maintain the Energy Management & Controls System (EMCS) across campus buildings. The role requires knowledge of HVAC controls, pneumatic and DDC systems, and a capacity to work with minimal supervision.

Perform installation, operation and maintenance of the Energy Management & Controls Systems ( EMCS ) for the purpose of monitoring and controlling the environmental conditions in buildings on campus. This position requires good working knowledge of HVAC systems and control devices and the ability to complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision. This position should understand control theory and how it applies to building HVAC systems.
Respond to “Hot & Cold” calls from the campus community. Repair pneumatic and DDC VAV box controls with assistance. Calibrate and replace pneumatic T-stats and other miscellaneous pneumatic equipment.
