Hubbell Incorporated is seeking an Automation/Controls Technician to support the design and assembly of custom automation equipment. You will work with engineers and technicians to assemble, wire, plumb, test run, troubleshoot and repair complex systems, including robots, lasers, pick-and-place mechanisms, and more.

The role emphasizes hands-on repair, fabrication, and maintenance to enable reliable operation.

Formación

• Five or more years of experience in a mechanic/manufacturing/machinist environment.
• Hands-on skills in repair, machining, fabrication, troubleshooting, and assembly.
• AS in engineering/technology would be a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Assist automation engineers and technicians to interpret designs and build automation equipment.
• Manage projects and organize materials from machine shop and vendors.
• Wire and plumb machines under guidance; set up and troubleshoot automation electronics (sensors, VFDs).
• Assist with setup using machine tools and verify conformance of machined parts to specifications.
