Job summary

Qualifications
- Five or more years in a mechanic/manufacturing environment or equivalent.
- Hands-on skills from repairing equipment, fabrication, or machining.
- AS in engineering/technology would be a plus.
Responsibilities
- Interpret designs and help bring automation equipment to life from SolidWorks models or drawings.
- Organize materials and manage project flow; coordinate with machine shop and vendors.
- Calculate dimensions, plan layouts, and determine assembly methods for components.
- Wire and plumb machines under engineer/technician guidance; troubleshoot basic automation electronics.
- Set up and operate machine tools (lathes, milling, welding) and verify conformance of parts.
- Attend training to expand knowledge of programming languages and machine maintenance.
