Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated is seeking an Automation/Controls Technician in New Hampshire to support the design, assembly, wiring, testing and troubleshooting of custom automation equipment. You will work with engineers and technicians to interpret designs and bring them to life, handling parts, assemblies, and integrations for robotics, sensors and controls.

Qualifications

Hands-on repair, machining, fabrication, troubleshooting and assembly expertise.
Experience in mechanic/manufacturing/machinist environments or equivalent education/training.
Willingness to learn programming for PLC/Robotic systems.

Responsibilities

Interpret designs and bring them to life with automation equipment.
Manage projects and organize materials from internal and external vendors.
Assemble, wire, plumb, test and troubleshoot automation equipment.
Set up machine tools (lathes, milling machines) and verify conformance to specs.
Assist with wiring and plumbing machines under engineer supervision.
Attend training to expand knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic systems and PLC/robotic coding.
