Job summary

Nestlé Purina North America in Oklahoma City seeks a Controls Technical Specialist II to troubleshoot, maintain, and enhance PLC-based automation systems and data credibility on production lines. You will oversee PLC upgrades, wiring changes, and collaboration with the maintenance team on line modifications.

Qualifications

• Associate or technical degree in a related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of PLC software and hardware troubleshooting and/or PLC-based HMI-systems.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain and enhance PLC and PC-based automation systems to improve accuracy and data credibility.
• Oversee PLC upgrades and wiring modifications on production equipment with maintenance team support.
• Provide programming and electrical support through conception to completion of plant projects and capital projects.
• Configure, program and troubleshoot PLC, and support plant maintenance with instrumentation, HMI/SCADA software and hardware.
• Perform preventive maintenance for controls and manage electrical/control parts inventory.
