Job summary

NSP in Owasso, OK is seeking a Maintenance Controls Technician on 2nd shift to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve automated manufacturing equipment and electrical control systems essential to meat production. You will ensure PLCs, HMIs, networks, drives, and instrumentation operate safely and reliably, supporting production with minimal downtime.

The role requires strong PLC diagnostics, electrical knowledge up to 480VAC, and the ability to work with limited supervision in a fast-paced

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Technical certification or associate degree preferred.
3+ years in a manufacturing maintenance or industrial controls environment preferred.
Food manufacturing experience preferred.
Advanced knowledge of Allen-Bradley PLC systems.
Strong PLC troubleshooting and diagnostics experience.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair automated manufacturing equipment and control systems.
Diagnose PLC/HMI/VFD/instrumentation failures using schematics and ladder logic.
Program and troubleshoot Allen-Bradley and Siemens PLC systems.
Perform online troubleshooting to minimize downtime and support audits.
