Job summary

Nestlé Purina North America operates a state‑of‑the‑art Batavia facility, 30 miles east of Cincinnati. This role supports automated packaging lines and industrial controls, with two months of training and a scheduled night shift on a 2‑2‑3 rotation after onboarding.

You will troubleshoot PLCs (Allen‑Bradley, Beckhoff), HMI/SCADA (Ignition, Aveva), install instrumentation, support SIS, and contribute to plant projects while maintaining electrical schematics and documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years PLC software/hardware troubleshooting or PC-based HMI systems.
• Alternative: Associate’s degree with 1 year PLC/HMI experience.
• Experience with industrial automation in manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot automation systems including PLCs (Allen Bradley, Beckhoff) and HMI/SCADA (Ignition, Aveva).
• Provide hardware support for packaging lines and warehouse operations (ASRS).
• Troubleshoot Fanuc robots, servo motion, SIS, and power distribution for maintenance teams.
• Install and troubleshoot instrumentation for level, weight, temp, pressure and flow.
• Lead plant and capital projects from concept to completion.
• Maintain up-to-date electrical and control documentation.
• Coordinate control system software upgrades and network/data administration.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams for plant operation.
